Notice to Filers Regarding the SFEDS Server Outage and the October 22, 2009 Pre-Election Deadline

Today, October 22, 2009, is the second pre-election filing deadline for the November 3, 2009 election.  Due to a server outage with the San Francisco Electronic Disclosure System today, filers required to file electronic filings and corresponding paper filings on October 22, 2009 will receive an automatic one-day waiver for any late fees if the filings are received on October 23, 2009.  Filers required to file paper statements only will not receive an automatic one-day waiver and the statement will still be due at the Ethics Commission by 5:00 PM on October 22, 2009.
