Notice to Lobbyists Regarding Changes to the Reporting Periods
Beginning January 1, 2010, changes to the Lobbyist Ordinance will take effect. The Ethics Commission is currently drafting regulations to accompany some of the changes, and will provide trainings on the new reporting requirements beginning in January 2010.
Currently registered lobbyists MUST report their Fourth Quarter 2009 activity using the current paper forms by the regular deadline of January 15, 2010. Monthly electronic reporting will take effect on January 1, 2010, and the filing deadline for each month will be the 15th day of the following month. The filing schedule is as follows:
