Nature of Contract
This Contract sets forth the terms under which Outside Counsel will provide legal services to the Successor Agency in connection with bankruptcy proceedings for Yoshi’s San Francisco. The Successor Agency has a need for bankruptcy-related legal services, given the specialized nature of the federal bankruptcy process. The Successor Agency requires bankruptcy expertise for the Successor Agency to have adequate legal representation in this matter. Outside Counsel will provide legal services in connection with the following matters: (1) Continue to represent the Successor Agency in the bankruptcy case and proceedings related to the Yoshi’s San Francisco bankruptcy. (2) Attend such meetings and provide such briefings for Successor Agency officials at the Successor Agency’s request as may be necessary to accomplish this Scope of Services, and (3) Undertake such other matters as may be approved by the Successor Agency’s Executive Director and agreed upon by Outside Counsel from time to time as needed.
